Der Kaiser Jeep is a modified restoration of a Jeep J truck. The vehicle’s origin is that of a US Forest Service truck. Der Kaiser Jeep’s chassis is a 1976 J20, four speed T-18A manual transmission with a 360ci V8 engine. The grill and side mirror are from a 1965 Gladiator (see advertisement below) while the badges are those of a 1972 J4000. Mounted to the original factory bumper is a WARN M8274 winch.
